Whitby Fishing School is an approved centre to deliver basic STCW95 courses. We can deliver Basic First Aid, Personal Survival Techniques, and Personal Safety and Social Responsibility. The courses are aimed at those persons/crews who wish to work in the Offshore Wind supply industry and will form part of the requirements of various wind farm companies.

The Sea Fish Industry Authority is currently funding the newly introduced 3 week Introduction to Commercial Fishing course which is aimed a new entrants to the industry.
