Radar Course

A one day course increasingly popular on both sailing and motor boats. Radar is an invaluable aid for navigation and collision avoidance but it is only useful in the hands of a knowledgable operator.

Course type: Radar – THEORY

Suggested minimum pre-course experience: None

Assumed knowledge: None

Course content: Basic understanding of radar and set controls. Plotting and collision avoidance. Navigation techniques.

Ability after course: Understands how to use radar in a small boat.
