Basic Sea Survival

This one day course prepares you to stay alive in an emergency. It will show you how to make the best use of a lifejacket/liferaft and you will learn some basic survival techniques.

Course type: Basic Sea Survival – THEORY & PRACTICAL

Suggested minimum pre-course experience: None

Assumed knowledge: None

Course content: Preparation for survival, lifejackets, medical issues, search and rescue techniques. It includes a practical session in a swimming pool to experience entering an inflated liferaft whilst fully kitted out.

Ability after course: You will have a good knowledge of survival techniques, the safety equipment carried on small boats and will have spent valuable time doing practical drills in a liferaft.
